WHAT TO EXPECT
Strong color, pattern, texture, and words, are the foundation tools from which Jody's ideas and feelings take form. Jody seeks the point, where she “knows” a piece has found its own subtle vibration or harmony and only then attempts to convey its meaning in such a way that others can also “feel” it.

Jody's Art Open Event takes place in her own live/work, eat/drink, art/music space.

The first 25 people who come and sign her mailing list will be entered in a drawing for a collection of 6 artist-made greeting cards.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jody began painting in 1993, while living in Wales, UK, but has been making music and drawing for as long as she can remember. The two are very closely related and act as fuel for the fire with each other. Other training includes a Graphic Arts background as well as a full-time “foundation” course at a local college in Wales that placed a strong emphasis on art history and techniques in various mediums were explored. At the close of this course, Jody knew that painting was to become her main tool for visual art making.
