A live painting and music festival featuring Nik, Heather, and a few artists TBA, as well as whoever decides to join in and pick up a brush.

Nik hopes to get people excited to contribute something to the large scale community "sound painting" which will be completed over the weekend while directly observing the musicians performing and/or the personal reaction to what is being heard - then painting it.

Nik Ayres and Heather Nichols will also have new work hanging in Voodoo Too.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
We all live unique parallel realities in an action-reaction continuum filtered through relative senses. Nik's paintings illustrate his own relation to our interconnected existence and question our place in cycles of change. While listening to music, Nik creates directly from his intuitive-emotional or synesthetic response to the sound stimulation.

Nik paints portraits, murals, illustrations, tatoos, and collaborative creations of all kinds.
